As a member of the Virtuoso luxury travel family, we have the ability and leverage to create unique and exceptional experiences for our clients from beginning to end, enhancing trips with complimentary perks, amenities, upgrades, and more. Average cost is affected by a several factors, including the specific destination and the season of travel.We are unable to work with AirBnB or VRBO, but we have an amazing portfolio of apartments, villas and homes, offered through our preferred suppliers. How do you get paid? Is it more expensive to work with you?
We get paid through a combination of supplier commissions and our planning fee. Earning supplier commissions does not make your trip more expensive—in fact, thanks to our relationships with preferred companies, hotels, drivers, guides, and activity suppliers in countries all over the world, we’re often able to offer you the best pricing, perks, amenities, and upgrades possible.

Why should I work with you instead of booking online myself?
Custom travel planning is time consuming and for most can be overwhelming - where to go, which hotels to choose, how to get there, how to get around once there, which guided tours are best, and what activities should be a priority. Not to mention any special travel requirements.

It’s a lot! We help you sort through the options and handle every detail so you have a seamless and enjoyable trip! Catherine Burton Travel will maximize your return on the investment of your time, money, and experience.

Perhaps more importantly, we offer confidence, peace of mind, and a completely unique experience, working with our preferred and trusted suppliers – we offer options that may not be found online.

Do I need trip insurance?
We highly recommend trip insurance to help protect yourself and your trip investment for events such as cancellation, delays, emergencies and in-travel assistance. There are different types of insurance available depending on your needs. Please consider purchasing trip insurance a priority.  

Are there any additional fees associated with your services?
There are typically no additional fees associated with our services. However, last-minute trip requests may result in an additional planning fee.
